Engage Nigeria, a pioneering initiative led by the Creative Industries Initiative for Africa (CIIFA), is designed for individuals aged 17-35. This program aims to equip creative Nigerians with valuable skills in music business and production, live production, cinematography, videography, content production, animation, and graphic design.

The program is structured into two cohorts, offering mentorship and hands-on practical sessions across Lagos, Kaduna, and Rivers State.

In partnership with Google, CIIFA is excited to announce the launch of the second cohort of Engage Nigeria. This transformative program seeks to empower 8,000 youth with essential skills for thriving in the creative industry.

This initiative is a pivotal component of the Skill Sprint program, launched in 2023, with the goal of equipping 20,000 Nigerian women and youth with essential digital skills. This nationwide program bolsters Nigeria’s growing creative economy, reaching new heights through expanded partnerships and increased reach. The latest cohort is set to benefit 6,000 creatives from across the country.

A notable expansion in this cohort is the partnership with the GOYF Community Digitech Hub, bringing the initiative to the vibrant Eti-Osa 02 community in Lagos. This partnership will unlock opportunities for youth and provide them with critical skills indispensable for excelling in the creative industry. It is a monumental stride towards fostering economic growth and innovation in Eti-Osa constituency 02 and Lagos State at large.
