About the Open Call
The Global Youth Mobilization Open Call 2024 aims to fund innovative local ideas from young people that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their communities. This initiative offers micro-grant funding for community-based projects led by individual young people or youth groups, addressing sustainable development challenges in their local areas. The program is committed to increasing the participation of under-represented youth, including those from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, individuals facing gender equality issues, or young people with disabilities.
Funding Details
- Individual Young People and Informal Groups: Eligible for funding ranging from 500 to 1,500 EUR.
- Registered Youth Organisations: Eligible for funding between 3,000 and 5,000 EUR.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Young people aged 14 to 30.
- Geography: Open to individuals from countries eligible for Official Development Assistance.
- Project Focus:
- Projects by or for underrepresented young people and groups, including those in challenging circumstances, from lower socio-economic backgrounds, and individuals facing gender or disability-related barriers.
- Projects addressing climate change and environmental sustainability.
Application Process
Applications are open from June 27 until July 21. Young people from eligible countries are encouraged to apply. The application process is designed to be straightforward and accessible, with forms available online and in multiple languages.
